    Kindergarten and 1st grade Music:

    We are in the lovely season of Spring and I would love to see what you are seeing for Spring Time!   Enjoy a few Springtime activities this week and share your spring videos or photos!  All you need can be found on Seesaw in activities.

     

    2nd Grade Music

    This week we are learning about the music staff and its letters.  Enjoy a video and some fun songs that share the lines and spaces of music!  All of this can be found on Seesaw in the Activities!   Enjoy!

    If anyone still wants to create their poem video - please do!  I love seeing and hearing from you and your classmates enjoy seeing your work in the Blog

     

    3rd Grade Music

    Kindergarten and 1st grade Music:

    There was a full moon last week and there will be some cool planets seen in the night sky this week!  Let's reach for the moon and stars this week and check out some fun activities!  Can be found in Seesaw Activities - click on the grey "View Original" button and then Mrs. Amrein for more directions!  Then share something your learned or what you enjoyed from these moon and star activities!   Have Fun!   🌝🌚🌝🌟🌟☄️

     

    2nd Grade Music

    Let's continue this week with our Video Creating project.  We have a chance to create a video with the app Clips.  All the information is found in seesaw but I am so excited to see what you can create!  

    Families, look for a note in seesaw about this project so you know what is going on too!!!

    3rd Grade Music


    T Join in on Level 3 of Recorder this week!  It is a play along set of songs this week with a movie to share with you what Level 3 means!  Let's reach for the stars with out recorders!!  Let me know what your favorite song was in the comments when you are done!

    Let's write a song!!!   We are starting a project this week that will lead to a great final creation of a recorder song! This week we are learning about how songs are put together and setting up the rhythms (fruit!) for your song!  Please view Lesson: Fruit Creation #1 in Otus and then do assessment: Fruit Creation #1!    YOU NEED TO SCREENSHOT YOUR FINAL CREATION BEFORE YOU HAND IT IN!!!!!

    MAY THE 4TH BE WITH YOU💫✨💫✨

     

    Kindergarten and 1st grade Music:

    Mrs. Amrein LOVES Star Wars!  So this week - The Week of MAY THE 4TH BE WITH YOU! - you have an interactive photo of everything Star Wars!   Some dancing, moving, clapping, listening - You will find it in the Seesaw Journal!  Enjoy it all!

     

    2nd Grade Music

    This week we are starting a project that can take up to 2 weeks.  We have a chance to create a video with the app Clips.  All the information is found in seesaw but I am so excited to see what you can create!

    You also have the option to give a live test through google meets on Friday May 8th at 10 am (code: recorderkarate).  Please enter the meeting on mute and know that others, although muted, may be in the room and listening to your test.

    This week is the FINAL DAYS of LEVEL 2 and the current Recorder Bingo Card!
    We have been mastering Level 2 of the recorder! Level 2 has us looking at the lines and spaces of music and playing our Do, Re. Mi recorder notes! This week's lesson is your rubber band lesson!

    Practice March of the Nutcracker and  attach a video to the assignment (Google Classroom) to show your mastery of Level 2! (Some of you have shared this already - please share a new video in the assignment!)

    This we we are diving into a fruit rhythm activity which will be something that continues for a few weeks in May!

    The lesson this week has a video and then you have to do a little work in Clips to finally add a short video into Otus - there are directions in the lesson!

    5th Grade Music:

    Let's get fancy and try some interesting things in Otus and Clips

    This week's lesson is reviewing the Dotted Quarter/8th note pattern (Peg Leg Joe!)   You will have a lesson and 2 Assessments to do - these assessments work with eachother: PART one - investigate and figure out who goes together. THEN screenshot your part 1 and record yourself clapping and counting in Clips and then PART 2 - upload your video to Otus!  All directions are in OTUS

    Guitar and Ukulele Players..... Check out announcements - I will have a few things about tuning your instrument up this week.   Friday (May 1st) in the morning, i will host a live meeting to help you tune your guitar or Ukulele!  Then Starting Monday May 4th - I will host a live class to teach you how to play - i will also upload videos for you to do on your own!  More info coming closer to the date!

    This week enjoy a little conversation about the Piano!
    Watch Videos 1 and 2 (video 3 is optional but really cool - someone is dissecting (taking apart) a piano!)
    Read one book from the Epic options

    Finally - Work on 1 or 2 squares on the Recorder Bingo Card - we will be doing this bingo card one more week - next week we will pass LEVEL 2 of 3rd grade recorder! I hope you are ready!

    4th Grade Music

    This week we are learning out first recorder note that adds the Right Hand!  The letter F isn't easy but we will get it together!

    There is a Lesson and video exit ticket (in assessments) to share.  Students  have all week to do this so take your time - they might need to try this new note a few times before making the video!

    This week we are reading and learning about the Guitar a little more.  

    Please do the lesson Guitar #2 and fill out the Exit Ticket in Assessments (Guitar Parts)

    The Parts of the guitar will help anyone who is looking to take acoustics next year in middle school as well as anyone who wants to try to play now!   We will be using the guitar parts for a differnt activity soon so you might screenshot the page for yourself!

    2. Hand in your Recorder Karate test in Assessment in March Digital Recorder Karate Test.  Remember, I want to see face and fingers and you might need to get creative in how you look at the music while you are recoding your video.   I can't wait to see your smiliing faces!

    (After you hand in your test video!)  If you want something more - check out Garageband - can you record your RK song with the Microphone and then add a drum beat to it?  (you will have to share it as a video in imovie - when you share the garageband file - share to imovie and then put a fun photo into the movie!)  Hand this in RK Extras assessment!
