My son, Flynn, has Down Syndrome. This is a genetic disorder that causes a varity of characteristics that are not typical in most people. Down Syndrome is caused by the presence of an extra chromosome in all of his cells. Most people have 46 chromosomes. Flynn has 47.
There is lots of information that I have shared over the years on October 1st because October is Down Syndrome Awareness Month. I would be pleased if you had the time to look through some of the old messages I have sent to people in the past.
