About Miss Pantke
Hello! My name is Andrea Pantke, and I am excited to be your child's teacher this year. This is my 16th year teaching first grade at Hillcrest. I enjoy teaching first grade because the kids make a great deal of growth in a year's time. Everything 6 & 7 year olds learn is new and exciting, and I love instilling a passion for learning in children. You will come to find that I'm very outgoing and energetic; I love making each day an opportunity to learn and smile.
I grew up in Westmont, IL (about an hour south of Antioch) and I now live in Antioch. My family consists of my Mom, Dad, older brother, sister-in-law and my adorable niece and awesome nephew. I have lots of aunts, uncles, and cousins in various states!
I received my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Illinois State University in 2004 and received my Master's Degree in Special Education from National-Louis University in 2012. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, and my dog Sami. I love to bake, cook, drive my Jeep, read, try new things, and I love to craft!
I am positive that this school year will be a great one. I look forward to getting to know your child, teaching them, and making great memories. Feel free to contact me via phone or e-mail if you have any comments, questions, or concerns!
