Bachelors in Communicative Disorders-Speech Language Pathology Masters in Special Education K-12 with an LBS1 certification
Mrs. Jessica Anderson
Hello! My name is Mrs. Anderson and I will be teaching the 4/5 LOP classroom. This will be my 8th year teaching Special Education. Prior to teaching Special Education, I was a Speech Language Paraprofessional for 8 years. I received my Bachelors in Speech Language Pathology from Northern Illinois University in 2006 and then went on to get my Masters in Special Education from Grand Canyon University in 2015. I have taught grades K-6 and have had a variety of experiences while doing so. I love being in the classroom because that gives me the opportunity to get creative and plan fun, interactive lessons that my students enjoy and I get to know them on a more personal level. I love to watch them get excited about learning and growing throughout the year.
I have been married for 15 years to my husband, Ronny and we have 2 rambunctious, adventurous, sweet boys: Colton (10) and Declan (7), I have 2 step-daughters: Shanna (24) and Kieley (23), a dog named Hazely and another named Phoebe. My stepdaughters are out on their own now and my boys keep me busy with sports, including baseball and flag football. We live over the border in Trevor, WI but both my husband and I grew up in the area. I enjoy playing volleyball, going to sporting events, boating, swimming, discovering new parks and visiting different animal parks in the area with my family and spending time with family and friends.
