WELCOME!
This will be my 5th year in education and my 2nd year at Hillcrest! I love both teaching and learning! I feel very lucky to be able to work with your 3rd graders. I believe in understanding the whole child in order to meet their needs. All students have a right to learn, to be heard, to be respected, and to feel safe. I also believe in making learning fun, and one of my biggest hopes is that all of my students will become lifelong learners. Please let me know if I can ever help with anything!
I love reading poetry and nonfiction. My favorite subject to teach is math, but I have fun with all of them! Outside of school I love music, sports (especially hockey), and traveling. I play guitar and piano and hope to visit Italy sometime soon!
