Hello! My name is Olivia Mallery and I am one of the resource teachers at W.C. Petty School.  As a school family, we are looking forward to a year of fresh starts and reengaging with school as a fun and safe space that inspires a love of learning for each child that enters through our doors. 

 Although this is my first year at Petty Elementary, this is not my first year as an educator.  Here is just a little bit about me…...I am a Chicago native who has worked as a Special Education Teacher for the past 7 years in various Chicago Public Schools.   I have worked with students and families in kindergarten, 3^rd, 4^th and 5^th grades in both the resource and inclusion setting.  My husband and I bought a house in Antioch over the summer and are really enjoying our new home and the town so far!  We have two children, Davin (8) and Avery (5) who are also starting at Antioch schools this year.  I received my Undergraduate degree in Psychology from Loyola University in Chicago, and I also have my Master’s degree in Special Education (LBS-1) from Northeastern Illinois University.
