Welcome to my new Reading Intervention website!

Hi, my name is Mrs. Jean Lindner! I am so excited to partner with you to help your child succeed! I am beginning my 21st school year at Hillcrest. I am excited to be working with the students in person this year.. Prior to my role as an interventionist I was a 1st grade and Transitional 1st grade classroom teacher. I love teaching in the same community that I grew up in. My family and I live in the District #34 community. I have a son that is beginning this year as a senior at Lakes Community High School.

I will be updating my website with different apps for learning, my schedule so you know when I am available and some lessons based on the students interests. Please remember that your child typically sees me for 30 minutes a day. I am working with the classroom teachers to make the best possible schedule. Some of your child’s intervention time will be synchronous learning and I will have additional time each day for student support. This time can be used to re-teach your child about a concept I taught or something that they have been assigned by their classroom teacher.
