    Student Lunch Accounts
We encourage pre-payment for meals by accessing your student's account through your PowerSchool Parent Account on our District Website. We encourage all families to monitor their Food Service Account Balances.  Money can be sent to your child’s school in an envelope marked with FIRST and LAST names on the envelope, along with their teacher's name.

    Negative Lunch Balance
A student with a balance of -$15.00 may be unable to charge any lunch or milk to their account.  Printed notifications and emails will be sent home weekly for low or negative lunch balances.  Phone calls are made weekly with high negative balances.  Send in money so your student's lunch account does not go negative. Here are directions to add money to your student(s) lunch account thru PowerSchool.

    End of Year Lunch Balance
Any funds remaining at the end of the school year are rolled over into the student's lunch account for the upcoming year. This includes negative balances.  Please make sure all negative balances are paid.

For eighth grade graduates, any leftover balances will automatically be transferred to a sibling or a parent/guardian must request balances be refunded. Requests for reimbursement must be received by the last day of schoolReimbursements must be $10.00 or more to be refunded. If we do not receive a check/transfer request by the last day of school, the remaining balance will be donated to the D34 Angel Fund, helping D34 students in need.

Families receiving Free/Reduced Benefits are reminded to re-apply each year.  This benefit does not automatically renew.  An Income Eligibility Application must be filled out to renew your lunch benefits for the current school year.

The business office will determine student fee benefits.

Verification: Your eligibility may be checked at any time during the school year. School officials may ask you to send papers showing your child should receive free or reduced lunch.
