This is my third year teaching at Oakland Elementary School. This is my first year teaching in the LOP program and I absolutely love it. I am a graduate of Antioch Community High School and from there graduated from Northern Illinois Univeristy with a Bachelors of Science in Special Education. Previously I've taught for the Special Education District of Lake County. Before I came to work at Oakland, I worked as a Developmental Therapist for the Illinois Early Intervention System. I live in Genoa City, Wisconsin with my husband, four children, 2 dogs, and a bunny. Most of my free time is spent at my children's sporting events cheering them on.
