Antioch School District 34 Occupational Therapist: Overview
Welcome to the 2020-2021 school year!
As an occupational therapist in Antioch School District 34, my role is to facilitate student achievement through learning and developmental growth. This may be seen in a variety of ways while working with students. My position also allows me the opportunity to collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents. Examples of strategies may include handwriting techniques, movement-based focus ideas, sensory modifications, and external supports for classroom inclusion.
In anticipation of a year filled with tremendous student growth, I look forward to learning more about the skills, and abilities of students in Antioch District 34. This year, I have the pleasure to offer services at Hillcrest Elementary and W.C. Petty Elementary. I am excited to learn how I may assist students to use their strengths towards achieving success!
