Remote Learning

  • Hello Families,

We are entering uncharted territory with the start of Remote Learning tomorrow. The first grade team has collaborated to prepare engaging, fun, and (for the most part) independent activities for your child.

Per our administration, our goal was to prepare about 5 hours of learning time per day. As a parent myself, I understand that is a lot of time…time that you may need to be working from home for your own job, time that you may need to be helping your other children with their eLearning assignments or any number of other things.  Please do not add pressure to yourself seeing that each and every assignment posted get completed.  The most important thing is to have your child reading each and every day.  What doesn’t get done one day, can very easily be transferred to another day.

If you have any questions or concerns at any time, please reach out. We are in this together and I am here to support you as best I can.

    Thank you for your support,

    Kerry Ellis
